Re: NHL Conference Finals (Beg 6.1)
All 4 teams played Game 1 Under in all 8 of their combined game 1's
Bostons 1st Two rounds 1st game's were both under
Pitts 1st 2 game 1's of the playoffs were under
LA And Chicago both played 2 game 1 stone cold unders in both of their 1st rounds, so basically the under is 8 - 0 with these 4 in their game 1's games combined
And Both Unders are juiced -125 and -135 although obviously one game is 5.5 and the other is 5, but they still let seymour sit at 10.5 but that also is about -130 or so, so do the law of averages kick in and snap it, i mean 9 - 0 in a row ? can both these games stay under and make it 10 game 1 unders with these 4 teams?
And then i factor in if i can see anything at all right now, but i've seen enough of these playoffs to logically come up with all 8 unders are 8 - 0 in game 1's
And if you have been around me long enough, i am a 'play it till it stops' kinda guy, but is it that easy? Are they just simply going to play low scoring opening series' throughout the whole playoffs?
Can boston stop Pitt from getting 4? Because no one else has obviously, but we are talking NYI, Ott, and not Tuuka in net, so now we have Tukka and Vokoun in the series that sends you to play for the cup man, HUGE!!!
If anyone out of everyone is nervous? It is alot more the goaltenders than the guys who do what they do all the time and these two put up shots!!! Play D when they want to as well and as well as anyone, so it can be a game either way and both can play either way they want, tight, hitting and low scoring, or up and down all night, so what do we get?
With all 8 games being tight and low scoring so far, isn't that the trend these guys themselves have set? 2-1 suits anyone, and same in the Chicago LA Series, i mean LA will gladly play to a 2-1 game with you, and if Chicago has an emotional let down after the way they took out Detroit, at home to boot and back home for game 1 in the round to get to the cup, who has the advatange?
LA CANT win on the road, period, end of story, and vegas sees it too obviously, but what is -140 there? The whole playoff world knows the Kings suck on the road, and Chicago is a tough place to play, DUH, that is not something any fucking rocket scientist can't tell you.. so what to do?
Stay with or go against the trend?
If one game is 4 - 3 and the other is 2 - 2 that is way over 10.5 and some cushion a bit, but which game will have 7? The Pitt 5.5? or the Chicago 5?
If any game does it, it will be more than likely the Pengs go nuts, but why couldn't Chic go nuts? They haven't been the same team that got into the playoffs during the playoffs, so what Chic team are we going to get?
All good questions, and the answers we need IMO?
Chicago ML -140
Chicago Team Total Over 2.5 -101
Boston / Pitt Over 5.5 -+105
Seymour Over 10.5 +120
I Am going against the grain and the tone set so far because these offenses could accidentally score 2 goals each without trying, and they will both know that a tight low scoring series won't happen in Pittsburgh, wont happen, they are both physical yes, but they both shoot a ton and transition better than anyone, i just see 4 -2 in Pitt, and 3- 2 in Chicago tbh, and squeeking in the 11 goals, to send seymour over by a .5 goal, we'll see what happens!!!
